| Introduction |
| Elanora Sate High School is a Queensland State Government Secondary College established in 1990. Elanora High is committed to creating a caring, friendly and productive learning environment, where students can strive to attain a broad education for life and achieve their individual potential. | Situated three kilometres from the world renowned and glorious white sand beaches of the Gold Coast, the school is nestled in the suburban area of Elanora at the southern end of the city. It is just four kilometres north of the Queensland/New South Wales border. |

| Faculties/Fields of Study |
| Years Eight (Thirteen years old) to Twelve (Seventeen years old) in the Queensland State Government system. ESHS is a comprehensive secondary school with Heads of Faculty in English, Languages, The Arts, Science, Mathematics, Health and Physical Education, Practical Arts, Social Education, Special Education, Business Education, Teaching and Learning, Senior Schooling, IT and Resources. Each of these faculties has purpose built facilities for student use as well as a Resource Centre (library), containing computers, notebooks and audio visual equipment for student use. All students have access to email and the Internet. |
| English Language Courses |
| Queensland Studies Authority approved programs for English at both the Junior and Senior level. Specialised English (ESL) lessons are available for International Students. Japanese and German language courses are also available. |
| Admission Requirements |
: Interviews involving parents are conducted for all prospective students.
: As above for appropriate study or family visa holders. Other International Students are welcome to apply via Education Queensland International (EQI). (See below) |
| Enrolment Procedures |
: Enrolment application with written submission of academic and educational history. Interviews are conducted to inform students and parents of school expectations and student opportunities. Enquiries can be made to the front office by telephone or in person.

| Tuition Fees |
: No tuition fees. Membership of a “Text Book and Resources Hire Scheme” is available to all parents and students to minimize costs. Some subject fees apply for particular materials and services.
