| The Gold Coast Education and Training Network (GCETN) is the peak industry body for the education and training industry on the Gold Coast. The member-based organisation is led by a committee of industry representatives and consists of member-institutions from the school, ELICOS, Vocational and Technical Education, and Higher Education industry sectors in the region.
Liaising closely with government on local, state and federal levels, the organisation's mission is to support, promote and grow the region's industry in a global environment.
The region's education and training industry is entering the most exciting period in its history. Under the 2001-2010 GCETN Business Plan, various strategies are now in place to draw more international and domestic students to the region.
In line with this year's Marketing Plan, the organisation and its members are promoting the region through the refreshed StudyGoldCoast brand.
Never before has such a cluster initiative been available to educational institutions in Australia. |
