King’s International College was established in 1996 and offers accredited and nationally recognised tertiary training in a number of educational areas including Nursing, Children’s Services, Hospitality, Aged Care and Home and Community Care. King’s International College is committed to continuous improvement and training development. This includes working in conjunction with duly authorised State Training Authorities, Federal Government departments, Industry Training Advisory Bodies and fully qualified industry specialists. King’s progressive action has allowed the College to update and expand programs in growth areas offering training that is practical, workplace relevant and meets all current statutory requirements. Our student community comes from all over Queensland and a wide range of overseas countries, offering a cross-cultural experience as an integrated part of campus life. The college is unique in offering smaller classes with the ability for students to develop their own study program. Also, strong commitment to students as individuals engenders a strong sense of fellowship between students and staff members. King’s training philosophy is founded on the three quality principles that the training provided is employment focused, flexible and learner centred. Consistent with these guiding principles, the College conducts an integrated approach to training that involves a combination of college-based traditional instruction, self-directed learning and distance learning. King’s International College’s main campus can be found at Reedy Creek with a second campus at Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast. Centrally located on twenty-five acres close to Robina Town Centre and the new Varsity Rail link, the College’s campuses’ have modern purpose-built facilities including lecture rooms, computer access and a coffee shop.
