Want to Volunteer in the Gold Coast community? Or are you a community organisation in need of volunteer help? Established in 1998, Volunteering Gold Coast is an integral part of the community. They provide volunteers to over 350 community organisations and events including Schoolies, Special Olympics, Gold Coast Marathon and University Games. Volunteering Gold Coast’s mission statement is “to develop and strengthen volunteering on the Gold Coast for the mutual benefit of the individual and the community.” Many of the Gold Coast’s largest events are run successfully and safely with help from Volunteering Gold Coast. In addition, their services include transport for elderly through Home and Community Care and Council Cab. Arts and Entertainment provide volunteer performers from musicians, singers, magicians, belly dancers for community events, fundraising events and functions.
