The Gold Coast has four universities, in addition to affiliated college campuses, offering world class research and learning opportunities.
Bond University
Bond University is Australia's first private, non-for-profit University, offering a personalised academic environment that enables graduates to exceed the outer limits of their potential.
With access to unparalleled academic and technological resources on Bond's world-class Gold Coast campus, students thrive in smaller study groups where eminent professors and industry-experienced lecturers know them by name.
By undertaking three-semesters-per-year instead of the usual two, graduates finish their studies sooner. Combine this advantage with Bond's commitment to opening doors to blue chip employers and it becomes clear that students graduate with a clear competitive advantage over their public university peers.
Central Queensland University
Gold Coast Campus, is one of Australia 's most dynamic, innovative and richly diverse universities with over 35 years experience in the provision of tertiary education. The university is highly committed to quality teaching maximizing outcomes for successful graduate job placement. This commitment has seen the university provide a flexible and supportive environment in which to study.
Griffith University
The Gold Coast Campus has focused its teaching and research to support the dynamic Gold Coast region and now has over 10,000 students and 500 staff members. More than $100 million has been invested in facilities incorporating leading edge, international standard technologies. The campus 'exciting range of coursework and research degree programs cover fields including arts, business, education, engineering, environment, health, hospitality, information technology, law, music, science, tourism and hotel management, visual and creative arts.

The campus also offers a range of postgraduate courses including the highly successful MBA and DBA programs. The campus is located on the waterfront and is close to business facilities, beaches and the Coolangatta International Airport .
